On June 26th Kenji Haba performed 15 one minute classical guitar pieces as part of the Vox Novus Composer’s Voice series. I was honored to have one of my pieces performed, Ediacaran Garden, of which the video is above. If you click on Kenji Haba’s name you can watch his other performances.

The program notes for my piece:

Ediacaran Garden is a free form impressionistic study in harmonic guitar texture. The Ediacaran age was a time when multicellular creatures first developed. The most notable feature about this time in history is the absence of predators which suggests the inhabitants were living in a garden of Eden.
