Steam Punk in 7-Limit JI => This weeks theme at sound-in.org is Steam Punk, which I took very literally in ambient improvisation. I took a sample of a steam locomotive steam whistle, loaded it into Kontakt, spiced with Lexicon Reverbation and Sonitius delay and played it on my M-Audio 88es. The sample itself is a “chord” of four tones going by the spectrogram of the sample above.
