Free Sue is a work for spoken choir, bowed piano in 18 notes per octave, mallet piano in 18 notes per octave, strummed piano in 18 notes per octave, tabla ensemble, snare drum, frame drum ensemble and various gongs. It is an entry into the 2011 60×60 Vox Novus event.

    I found out this morning (3/14/2011) that this piece was selected for the 60×60 International mix! This means the piece will be performed at a number of cities around the world.

Last year my piece 17 ET Jazz was accepted as a part of the 60×60 Crimson mix It is exciting to be selected along with many other fine works by composers from around the world.

    Combined tone melodies, almost a continuous tone variations as if part of the piece was played with instruments of the violin family, however in practice these combined instruments cannot reproduce a similar work. Technical insertions in the instrument used for the recording would have permited the particular listened sound I think.
