20181019 17 Note per Octave Guitar with Effects

This was created by using my 17 edo (notes per octave) guitar and Roland GK-3 pickup. The guitar signal was direct in to the audio interface (the affordable ($99) and very good Behringer Uphoria UMC404HD) and then into Native Instruments Guitar Rig 5. The guitar also drove a bass guitar sound on the Roland GR-20, which since the input was 17 notes per octave, the output was automatically in 17 notes per octave. Lastly the midi output of GR-20 was routed to u-he Brazille which was tuned to 17 notes per octave by a .tun file. The resulting mess was then mixed down and cropped. Time lapse video I took was manipulated to be used as a carrier of the audio.
