I have recently listened to the public domain audio book The World Set Free by of H.G. Wells. The story is full of predictions of the future from the perspective of 1914 and I recommend it. I used a quotation from the book as a basis for this ambient piece in 17 edo played on Absynth, Zeta+, Albino, and my collection of cymbals and gong.
