Stamped 999 is a one take improvisation using my Fender Mustang with Roland GR-20 to drive Absynth, SI Strings and Kontakt as well as recording audio for the straight guitar plus Gr-20 bass guitar on separate tracks with effects. At 2:58 I break my A string – I think I can hear the string snap – or perhaps its my imagination – YMMV. A bummer but I tried to deal with it. And then my left forearm and hand cramp up. So you could say the ending was a bit enforced. The absynth pseudo-strumming was a bit odd to play with and helped as well as hurt my timing in places. I hope you enjoy this 12 equal piece.
