phi[8] piano improvisation

phi[8] piano improvisation is an improvisation in the tuning below. The tuning has two basic interval sizes, ~108 cents and ~175 cents. This would lead you to believe that the tuning is not very harmonious. I found it to be otherwise and also excellent for melodies.

Jake asked for the same improvisation in “minor” mode – the tuning is below.

The tuning was devised by Jake Freivald – phi[8] is a LSLLSLSL mode “major”
