Its a Queer Time (a microtonal setting of a Robert Graves poem)

Its a Queer Time, a setting of a poem written by Robert Graves and read by Pete Marchetto from librivox tuned in 22 edo, 11 edo, and 43 JI running on 8 different synths. The technology behind the audio is using Gestrument as a performance controller and transmitting its midi output over ethernet using rtpMIDI (thank you Tobias!!) as a Windows surrogate for Apple Bonjour – the end result is that I play the Gestrument on my iPad and Sonar sees the midi from it as a virtual midi controller. Then it is simply a matter of routing each midi channel to separate tracks each with a microtonal aware synthesizer [panned a bit uniquely] – the audio was then added, the midi tracks trimmed appropriately and then married to the video. Since the video and Librivox licenses are public domain by necessity my musical setting of these resources is public domain as well.
