And I Became One With My Pet Fungi

The TED Talk is property of TED. Only my music is Creative Commons BY-NC-ND.

The above talk by Jae Rhim Lee is very unusual and a great example of out of the box thinking. The music attached to this post is in 17 edo (equal division of the octave) and a further exploration of post-processing work I am exploring – in this case processing a 17 edo guitar performance. When I was working on this piece this video which I had recently watched came to mind.

Hi Chris,

Beautiful & atmospheric. I find 17edo harmonies to be a bit brittle, but also at times crystalline & bright, as here. Sheer genius, Chris.

Added to my select list of very personal favorites.

Warmest,

Dear Chris,

I really enjoy this lecture. Very interesting perspective on thinking about post-mortum options and environmentally/green thinking. Thanks for sharing!

Peace,

Mike
